Limited practical experience
Topic of this content: How to solve limited practical experience
Who might be interested in reading: people and professionals
In the third text of this month, we will address limited practical experience, one of the factors that can contribute to inadequate skills or knowledge in individuals.
Limited practical experience means that theoretical knowledge alone may not be sufficient without adequate practical experience, because practical application is often crucial for a deeper understanding and superior mastery of the skills needed to perform, to be realized or to achieve some goal.
When this practical experience is limited, the lack of essential skills and knowledge can lead to lower-paid jobs, as people may not be qualified for higher-paying jobs.
"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it." - Pablo Picasso
A possible solution is for people to learn by doing, which is one of the most effective ways of acquiring new skills.
And they can apply what they learn to projects, volunteer work, internships or part-time jobs, because applying knowledge in the real world helps reinforce learning and improves retention.
It is natural that one of the obstacles is the fear of failure that people may feel, of not being able to learn something new or of failing in the process, which can discourage them from starting to acquire new skills or knowledge.
However, the benefits arising from the proposed solution allow people with the right skills and knowledge, with the experience acquired through their practical application, to have, with greater probability, access to better-paid jobs, which contributes to their financial stability and for their professional growth.
Author's note: this text expresses a personal perspective framed within some parameters, it is not a scientific article, of a medical, prescriptive or binding nature. It is also important to note that it was not intended to be an exhaustive analysis, in the future there will be new texts that will address other ways of looking at these same topics.
