In this fifth - and final - text on this month's topic (lack of clear goals), we will look at another factor that may contribute to this gap; lack of motivation.
Without intrinsic or extrinsic motivation, you may lack the drive to set and pursue goals. Motivation is often linked to the search for meaning and purpose in established goals, that is, they must have a high degree of alignment with your essence as a person or professional.
The process of setting, pursuing and achieving goals is closely linked to personal satisfaction and well-being. A lack of clear goals can make people feel dissatisfied, contributing to lower levels of happiness and life satisfaction.

A possible solution is to celebrate small milestones on the journey towards your goals. These celebrations allow you to recognize the progress you've made so far, and however small it may be, it can increase your motivation and commitment to the broader goal.
It is important to actively monitor the existence of moments of procrastination, which consist of postponing decision-making or goal-setting activities, which can lead to a cycle of inaction and a lack of clear goals.
Goals act as a motivational force, which induce people to act. The clarity of knowing what you want to achieve can be inspiring and help maintain motivation over time, particularly as you observe, recognize and celebrate small milestones of progress achieved at each stage.
Next month, we will start a new monthly topic,
on which 4 texts will be produced.
Author's note: this text expresses a personal perspective framed within some parameters, it is not a scientific article, of a medical, prescriptive or binding nature. It is also important to note that it was not intended to be an exhaustive analysis, in the future there will be new texts that will address other ways of looking at these same topics.
