Supporting our common future
Since its inception, Seikatsu Equilibrium has been committed to the Sustainable Development Goals, a commitment adopted by all Member States of the United Nations in 2015, which defines the priorities and aspirations of global sustainable development for 2030, seeking to mobilize global efforts around a set of common objectives and goals.
There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which represent an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – for a global partnership.
All of our content, products and services - current or made available throughout the company's future life - represent contributions to 7 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which we detail below:
SDG 1 – End poverty in all its forms everywhere.
By
2030, reduce at least by half the proportion of men, women and children of all
ages living in poverty in all its dimensions according to national definitions
SDG 3 – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
By
2030, reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases
through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being
SDG 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
By
2030, ensure equal access for all women and men to affordable and quality
technical, vocational and tertiary education, including university
SDG 5 – Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
End
all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere
SDG 8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Achieve
higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological
upgrading and innovation, including through a focus on high-value added and
labour-intensive sectors
SDG 9 – Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Develop
quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, including regional
and transborder infrastructure, to support economic development and human
well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all
SDG 10 – Reduce inequality within and among countries.
By
2030, empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all,
irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or
economic or other status
